Nagaur. When the feeling is of service, then age is not seen. In today’s run-of-the-mill life, people do not have time for themselves and in such a time, if you give your valuable time and financial support in social concern and religious works, then this thing makes you different from others. This sense of service becomes special when your age has reached around 100 years. Yes, the story of Tiju Devi, who lives in Vasundhara Colony of Nagaur district, is something like this, who is doing her religion by serving cows even at this age.
Doing charity for 50 years
Tiju Devi told that doing cow service is considered the biggest religion in Hinduism. I learned cow service from my mother. Every year I donate my savings for cow service. I have been donating for Gauseva for the last fifty years. I believe that serving cows gives peace to the soul and mind.
Local people told that Mataji is working for the service of cows even at this age. This teaches us that we should also serve the deaf and dumb animals and birds.
